MDE vs. AOSD/AOP

AOM: Oxymoron or Pleonasm

I just uploaded and old presentation from 2002. This was a guest talk given in Vienna about the relations between MDE, AOSD and AOP.

Some of the slides may still be of some interest, while many others have only an historical interest:

I believe AOP or AOSD is just a special case of MDE. MDE is the general systematic way to separate and compose aspects in information systems.

PS: [Also, I hate the word “early aspects”. This is very confusing.]

You may also check a later talk on “Aspect Oriented Modeling ” or AOM by John Whittle, given as a Google Tech Talk in June 4, 2008 AOM: what it is and what it’s good for.
